Another for you view-seekers; the Bosley Cloud offers the best compromise between ‘adventure’ and ‘relaxing walk’ in the area around Congleton and the local, surrounding towns. With two well-structured, man made routes to the top, this walk is absolutely suitable for young children and dogs and also offers a large open space at its peak - giving them the chance to have a bit more freedom than you might expect. The routes, while having the propensity to get rather boggy in the rain, allow for the walk to be completed in any weather; arguing that you might actually want to give it a go on a rainy day should you be seeking more of an adventure. Otherwise, it’s just as enjoyable in the warm weather, and on clear days you get some serious views - extending far and even making Manchester and Liverpool visible! Closer to home though, you are treated to some brilliant photo opportunities of landmarks such as Jodrell Bank, the Cheshire Plains, Staffordshire and more. While caution is recommended due to some uneven areas closer to the top, the Bosley Cloud is absolutely one to tick off.
